Dr. Andres Perez currently serves as the President of the Colombo American Medical Association (COAMED). The association today has over 55 members, with a unified commitment to provide quality care to not only the Colombian and Hispanic community but to all Central Florida residents. Recently, Dr. Perez represented COAMED and the Orlando Foot and Ankle Clinic at the Governor's meeting to discuss a number of health care topics affecting our communities and ways to get involved.
Orlando Foot and Ankle Clinic's very own Hospitalist, Dr. Michael Smith, has been awarded the "Surgeon of the Quarter" at Florida Hospital South. In an effort to continue to welcome Dr. Thurston to our team, Orlando Foot & Ankle Clinic hosted an Open House on July 25th, 2013 at our new Lake Mary Office. The Open House was a success, as many individuals from the community came out to meet Dr. Thurston and take a personal tour of the office. Dr. Thurston practices in the Lake Mary Office all day on Tuesday and Thursday and every Friday afternoon. We want to personally say thank you to all of those who came out to show their support!
Orlando Foot & Ankle Clinic is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Thurston to our team of exceptional Podiatrists. Dr. Thurston is a highly trained foot and ankle specialist that will be practicing at the Altamonte Springs office which will now be open five days per week. We are excited to announce that the Lake Mary Office will be relocating. The new office address will be 1355 South International Parkway, Suite 1481, Lake Mary, FL 32746. We believe that our new office is conveniently located, easily accessible, provides ample parking and is more spacious. The hours will remain the same with the clinic open all day on Tuesday and Thursday and open every Friday afternoon. We will begin seeing patients at the new office on July 1, 2013.
